Adrienna Jenkins Bio
Adrienna Jenkins (born July 22, 1981) is an American female mixed martial artist. She trained as part of the Miletich Fighting Systems team along with former UFC champions Pat Miletich and Jens Pulver.
Early life
Adrienna grew up in Kauai, Hawaii.
MMA career
Adrienna made her MMA debut at the age of 22 against Keri Crothers at WEC 9 in 2004.
Jenkins faced Alisa Cantwell at XFO 3 on October 4, 2004. She lost the fight by verbal submission in the first round.
She faced Kelly Kobold at NFF - The Breakout on March 10, 2007. She lost the fight by verbal submission in the first round.
She was scheduled to fight Erin Toughill on February 6, 2009 at a PFC event, but suffered an injury and was forced to withdraw.
Jenkins entered the Freestyle Cage Fighting Women's Bantamweight Grand Prix at FCF 39 on January 30, 2010 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She submitted Sarah Schneider with a rear naked choke in the second round of their quarterfinal bout. It was the first time that Jenkins had ever fought beyond the first round of a fight.
Jenkins faced Jan Finney in the second round of the FCF tournament at FCF 40 on March 27, 2010. She was defeated by Split Decision in a very close fight.
Due to Finney's withdrawal from the tournament to compete for Strikeforce, Jenkins returned and faced Shayna Baszler in the final round on June 12, 2010. Jenkins was defeated by armbar submission in the first round.
Jenkins faced Tonya Evinger in a number one contender's bout at Raging Wolf 8: Cage Supremacy on July 17, 2010. She was defeated by TKO in the second round.
Personal life
Adrienna has a son.
